Dear Ed,
Thanks for being so patient about the last minute changes on the cover, etc., since the whole character of this record has also changed since we had our first discussions. Larry Marks produced this album & Henry Lewy did the sound, even tho' we cut the basics at the house, they have both been more helpful than I can describe in the space available. My sister, Susan, sung Background parts on "When Can Brown Begin" & "Once In The Morning". Joni Mitchell helped me with "Simile".
The rhythm section was the same as for the past two years - Guitars, Trumpets by Fred Tackett ; Drums by Ray Rich ; Bass, Flute & Saxes by Skip Mosher.
At A&m, thanks to Ray Gerhardt, Rick Porter, Lou, Herb, Paul, Sandi, Bill & all the others who made the stay so comfortable.
Love,
Jimmy
